Bathroom renovation in Bedford

Working alongside the clients in Bedford, they came to us to design, supply and install a Traditional bathroom but also to include a Wetroom shower area within the room to utilise as much space as possible.

The room was a part of an on going house renovation in Bedford.

Firstly, the project involved ground works to install new drainage, then upgrading the existing central heating and hot water to a pressurised system to satisfy the hot water demand. We then moved the window to suit the new bathroom design layout and at this time, took this opportunity to insulate the walls and celling to meet building regulations. After all the building works had been completed, we then installed insulating thermo boards to the floor. Then supplied and fitted 10m2 of Warmup loose wire under floor heating cable as an alternative method of heating to satisfy the BTU’s for the room.

We installed a Laura Ashley washbasin unit, Burlington roll top bath with floor standing pillar taps. The shower valve and bathroom brassware was also Burlington. We sourced the sanitary ware in Bedford from a company called QP Interiors. The floor and wall tiles were supplied by Topps Tiles also based in Bedford.

We’re looking forward to working for these clients in the near future on the next phase of the house renovation. The Kitchen remodel project, which will include structural building works, state of the art audio, lighting equipment and imagination.
